Is “Wavy” a Good Name?

This dog needs a home and a name! Its sad he’s lost and no one knows his name to reassure him and love him. How can someone lose their pet and not find him?

Watch here as my favorite TV person Cheryl and a great dog trainer on the news with him talks about what a good dog he is . I hope someone calls soon. My mom said on Facebook they named him “Wavy” after the TV station this was on.

Jackson visited the shelter once in 2009 and asked me why more people werent coming to look for their lost pets or adopting them. After I explained its cheap to adopt but its the monthly costs and training…he decided to start a site. From the name to conception-  its all his. (The reason people don’t find their lost pets is another lengthy blog post!)

Let him assist YOU in saving a a furry friend’s life. This is a real life saving issue. Virginia Beach wont pay for a new city shelter (yet).  While the homeless pets are there they can get very ill. (Its a bad building , but they are good pets!)

Max the TV Star

Max is 10 but playful! He loves kids and dogs He needs a home!

I met Max today at Wavy 10 afternoon TV show. I cant believe someone lost him! He is so cool during the show he was on his belly and mom had to keep petting him to keep him still. He was so happy to be around us.

Cheryl Tan was so nice to interview my mom to talk about homeless dogs. I think Max the dog is really good with kids and other pets.

He has been in the cement shelter since January, he’s 10 years old but he acts like a cute 5 year old. I hope someone calls Virginia Beach Animal Control right now to take him home!

Help Pets in Haiti

This is Jackson hey everybody ! You know who Michael Vick is, right?

And you know how he hurt dogs and made  them fight so you can guess what I think.  My dog Otis  is part Pit Bull Terrier, so he could have been in that mess.  The dogs did nothing wrong.

… Here we go this is the news on Fox 43 next up is when Emperor Palpatine turns mother nature to the Dark Side in Haiti .  Sunday at 9 it’s Family Guy sometimes it’s the Simpsons…

…Now in Haiti  a big earth quake came so the animals are lost because their owners died,  or are hurt and their family can’t help them. So what I’d like  you to do help and donate money for Haiti’s wounded. Alright my mom just yelled homework so seya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kids Training Tips for a Dog

Hi Its Jackson. This is a few tips on training a dog:

1. When a dog is jumping up stand still and so he’ll get bored and he’ll walk away.

2.Also When a dog is jumping on you move forward not backwards.

3. Don’t run with a puppy because he’ll think its a game and he will play bite.

Will You Be an Animal Shelter Kid with Me?

That's me, Jackson with Otis, my shelter dog & Striker

This website is about helping the animals so they can have a home instead of being in a shelter with a cement floor and a totally uncomfortable bed. Its very lonely at the shelter and all the dogs are barking.

Help Me Feed the Shelter Pets

I will have games because I’d like more people on my page and fun for bored kids to do. I will have a parents page for them to read all the good things about learning to adopt a pet so the animals wont be so lonely and unhappy in the shelter.  Also, hopefully the parents will donate money here and I will give it to the  families to help them pay for food ,toys , and pet’s doctor bills.

PET TIP: Always remember not to give them human food and make them have their food only in the morning and at 5:00pm. Also, Always make sure they go to a dog park or just regularly have exercise (like take them for a walk).

All they need is a nice warm bed

This is my first website and I’m looking forward to meeting great Animal Shelter Kids and families here who will be on my site donating for  the pets. My mom and dad are working on a paypal link, and games are being made,  here so come back soon.
